YULU just made a big move

Bengaluru-based EV mobility startup Yulu has raised $93 million - $63 million in equity led by GEF Capital Partners plus $30 million in debt. The company plans to expand its fleet and move further into e-commerce logistics, bike taxis and express deliveries.

Fishland has been serving Konkan-style seafood since 1982, without trying too hard to become Instagram-famous.

Bengaluru has a gallery just for cartoons

Near MG Road, Indian Cartoon Gallery at Midford House is one of those places you can easily live in Bengaluru for years without noticing.

The gallery focuses entirely on cartoons and caricatures and regularly hosts exhibitions by Indian artists. It is small enough for an easy solo visit, without requiring half your day.

Go if you want something cultural but low-commitment - especially before coffee, lunch or another plan around central Bengaluru.

Here’s one rule that will save you several disappointing Saturdays: plan by neighbourhood, not by wishlist.

For an easy solo outing, try the Indian Music Experience Museum in JP Nagar. Weekend hours are 11am–7pm and tickets start at ₹150. Exhibits give the visit enough structure that arriving alone doesn’t feel remotely unusual.
