Modi’s Bengaluru message: Small actions, big impact

During his visit to Bengaluru, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a nine-point agenda for building a “Viksit Karnataka,” focusing on everyday actions people can take. He highlighted issues that matter directly to Bengaluru on saving water, keeping the city clean, supporting local products, and improving health through better food and fitness. These points connect closely with the city’s ongoing challenges like water shortages, waste management, and rapid urban growth.

His message was simple: development is not just about government projects, but about how citizens live and contribute daily. For Bengaluru, the focus is clear, better city living starts with small, consistent actions from everyone.

Startup & Business

Bengaluru-based proptech startup Helium has raised ₹5 crore in its first funding round from well-known founders like Kunal Shah and Albinder Dhindsa. The startup helps make renting homes easier by managing properties digitally and even covering security deposits upfront, linked to a tenant’s credit profile.

The fresh funds will be used to improve its product and grow marketing. This funding shows strong confidence in Helium’s idea to simplify and modernise the rental experience in India.
