Regular uppittu, but with a clever Karnataka twist: majjige, or buttermilk. It gives the familiar rava breakfast a light tang and softer texture. Best part? About 25 minutes from “Should we order?” to breakfast.

The proposed Bengaluru Skydeck is moving through its planning stage. The Karnataka government’s concept is for a roughly 250-metre-high landmark, with an estimated project cost of ₹600 crore.

Plans being explored go beyond a viewing deck, with possible leisure, tourism and commercial spaces. But the final design, financing structure and execution model are still being worked out.

If it happens as envisioned, Bengaluru could get one of its most distinctive new public attractions. For now, consider it a very tall work in progress.
