Flying out of Bengaluru may soon become lighter on the wallet.
Bengaluru International Airport Ltd has proposed reducing the User Development Fee for passengers flying from Kempegowda International Airport. If approved, domestic passengers may pay ₹450 instead of ₹550, while international passengers may pay ₹1,215 instead of ₹1,500 from September 2026.
Since this fee is already part of your ticket price, the change could reflect directly in airfares. So that Goa break, Delhi trip, or “I need to escape this traffic” flight might feel a little cheaper soon.
